Angela Ricks is a writer living east of the Rocky Mountains, filling pages with stories to foster connection—whether through a sweet moment between parent and child, a feeling of unity with neighbors and friends, a reminder of nature’s gifts, or a better understanding of one’s past and potential.

Angela has a Masters of Education with coursework focused on Arts in Education and Technology, Innovation, & Education. She is a learning designer with broad experience, leading and creating everything from engaging museum talks, online business courses for rising leaders, science and cooking experiments, and coding challenges.

She is a mother of three small children. Together they love to explore the natural world, imagine all sorts of wonderful things, and laugh without stopping...until they absolutely have to.

One of my favorite moments reading to children, in which I find myself explaining to Boston 2nd graders what "long johns" are and they are perplexed that such things exist.
